Recovinyl is an initiative of the European PVC industry.
The organisation was set up in 2003, as part of the Vinyl 2010 voluntary commitment, to promote the sustainable development of the PVC industry by improving production processes, minimising emissions, developing recycling technologies and stimulating the collection and recycling of PVC waste.
In the early days of Recovinyl, Recydata was commissioned to certify PVC recyclers and monitor the declarations made by its members.
PV CYCLE BELGIUM is the management body set up by the industry as part of the environmental protection agreement for photovoltaic solar panels, which, in the legal form of a not-for-profit association, aims to organise and fulfil the obligations relating to the take-back of photovoltaic solar panels on behalf of all its members.
In the early days of PC Cycle, Recydata was commissioned to manage general administration and carry out checks on recyclers.
